Yeah it doesn't seem like they have the firmware update for the carplay or the maestro RR yet. Too bad.

I used mirrorlink on a headunit from kenwood, and I wasn't too impressed. It mirrors the phone on the screen and that's it. If your into apps, sure; netflix and youtube as well.

I definitely wouldn't use it as a reason to buy.

What type of phone are you using with it?

You really are going to love the deck. One of the best nav interfaces that I've seen, and it handles my (bursting at the seams) iPod music library with no lag.
