Up for sale is a former demo vehicle that was built to show off the best products and installs by one of the top aftermarket tuning and suspension/lift shops in Ft Mac. The truck has over $20K in aftermarket accessories, all professionally installed.
Seven years ago I bought the truck from the original shop owner to occasionally tow a boat, and for commuting on the highway. Because of its size it’s great protection against deer/moose/bear collision when travelling (also has extra high beams).
The truck has been professionally owned/maintained in tip-top shape, with service done per the recommended schedules (and all full synthetic fluids). It’s also a non-smoker vehicle.
Get a great truck with a huge amount of aftermarket goodies, installed to last, and well maintained, for $8,000. Some of the main highlights include:
Towing/Power:
• It’s got the 5.4L V8 with a built tranny, a high end electronic brake controller w 7pin hitch, allowing it to easily reach its stock 7400lb towing rating even on hot days on the highway.
• It’s also got a front hitch for maneuvering in those tight spots, or to allow for a manual snowplow to be used. It’s AWD/4Hi/4Lo, cabin switchable. There’s minor mods to the engine such as a cold air intake, a throttle body spacer, an aftermarket exhaust, etc. It has a Superchips Power/Towing programmer with OBD reader.
Audio/Video System:
• The stereo was built for the highest sound quality. It has a Phoenix Gold TEQ-30 channel tuned for “in cabin” flat response, with a Phoenix Gold 600.4 amp driving the mains (MB-Q’s) and another Phoenix Gold 1200.1 amp driving an Image Dynamics sub (w/rubber surrounds for good SQ at -40C) sized for the custom box in rear quarter panel, and with a sub level knob mounted in centre console.
• The headunit is a Pioneer AVH-6600DVD 7” in dash flip up touchscreen, a GPS/NAV module (with current DVD maps), a Bluetooth phone module, both handsfree, a reverse camera, an ipod aux-in module, and a spare Pioneer vehicle diagnostics and display module (takes 2 minutes to swap out one of the other modules), a Pioneer handheld remote, and Pioneer’s steering wheel thumb remote.
Visual Modifications:
• It comes with 275 wide 20” tires, an unmounted matching 275 20” tire, and the factory spare. It also comes with 4 virtually new Goodyear Eagle RS-A 255/50/20”.
• It has a rear spoiler, running boards and modest wheel flares, billet grille, and some trim has been removed, adding to its clean lines. It has always been garaged and regularly waxed, and the paint still looks great.
• There’s limousine tint on the 2nd row seats and rear.
• It has a 6 headlight high beam system (w/HID high beams). You can have daytime drivers set up as LED, beauty rings (a-la BMW), low beams, and any combination of same, if desired (or no daytime driving lights, as set up now).
• The rear has 60w HID’s w flash and on/off switches on drivers door armrest, and aftermarket LED turn signals. These rear lights can be handy when maneuvering a trailer, when on the highway, etc.
Comfort Modifications:
• There’s a Compustar 2 way 2W8000FMR remote starter (800m range), with LCD remote and key, and two small remotes w keys, and custom window modules controlled by same. All three keys are programmed to the stock alarm system.
• There’s aftermarket seat heaters (for both bottom and back of seat).
• There’s also a 1200w inverter with a remote plug and remote power switch by the rear hatch.
Other:
• I installed a new windshield and battery for the sale.
• The A/C is still as strong as day one (I run the compressor once a month in the winter on a warm day, to lube the seals).
• There also a few spare parts such as eight new spare coils, the second set of tires, and I have all the original engine parts that have been upgraded.
• I have the instruction manuals and boxes for the aftermarket goodies (and have all the presets recorded, in case you need to swap out the battery and re-program the settings).
