I've had good luck with ChowSangSang.com, it's impossible to find good Chinese gold jewelry locally in Calgary. The duties may seem steep, but the craftsmanship was well worth it. Shipping was via Fedex and came within a week. It's so weird that some white people places even have "10k gold". 10k to me suggests that it's mostly NOT gold, how can you possibly call it that?!!
