Hello,

I need help deciding which all seasons to go with. I'm going with the high performance all seasons because they will be used as summers and I want them to last longer than summer performance tires.
I've narrowed them down to the five below.
They are my top choices in order and the Kumho is also in there because of price.

Any of you guys/gals have any experience with these tires? Recommendations?

Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season
235/40R18 95W

Michelin PILOT SPORT AS 3
235/40R18 XL - 95H

Continental EXTREME CONTACT DWS
235/40ZR18 XL - 95Y

General Tire G-MAX AS-03
235/40ZR18 95W

Kumho ECSTA PA31
235/40R18 XL - 95V

Go with the Michelin or the Continental.

Guess I should clarify the classifications because of the speed ratings.
The A/S 3's are the H rating tires because its more in my price range. Not sure if that changes any opinions since most of the reviews I read are for the W/Y ratings.

Any reason for those choices?

I have been fortunate enough to drive three of these tires (Goodyear, Conti and General) in a controlled test track situation on both wet road course and dry road course, and one I just tested on the street (the Michelin). I also sell all of them and have plenty of customer feedback over and above my own personal preferences...

*EDIT* I have not yet tested the new Kumho's...

They are all good, just slightly different from each other...

For ride quality within a UHP all season, the Michelin is definitely the smoothest and quietest with the Conti a close second, Goodyear next and then the General...

For dry cornering I found the Goodyear to be the better on the track but the new Michelin does get rave reviews from many of my clients, then the General and lastly the Conti...

For wet cornering, the Conti and Michelin are both right up there and the General and Goodyear just behind them.

For cost, the General is by far the best value, then Goodyear with Michelin and Conti being the most expensive.

Wear wise they are all super close to each other...

People will always have varying opinion on their own preferences, so which one is best for you depends on your own preferences in those areas, but really all of those tires are good quality and will work fine, but they definitely will have their own areas within which they are just a little better...

Why are you using speed ratings as a factor in your decision for an all season tire? An H rated tire (lowest in your above list) is still good for 210km/h do you plan on going quicker than that?

Pick what matters most to you, whether that be UTQG treadwear, traction, noise level, hydroplaning resistance, price etc. etc.

Besides anything any of us are going to tell you will more than likely be based on our own biases (I personally prefer Michelin tires). Only Bob has actual seat time with some of those specific tires so his opinion should be the only one of value.

Speed rating isn't a factor because you are correct on the 210km/h. The difference is the price. I'm just mentioning it since most reviews ride on the higher rated tire which could create different characteristics.

Bob's opinion is greatly valued!

This is for the GF's ride so just looking to see which set has the best compromise of everything. Looks like the Michelin is ahead based on Bob's review.
I personally use PSS's and I love them.

I'd personally go with the A/S 3s. Road noise/ride quality are really important things for me if I go with no season tires and the A/S 3s are one of the best for that.

"Michelin PILOT SPORT A/S 3" is the top rated tire in it's class based on Consumer Reports ratings.
