I've seen pictures before, but why did they get abandoned?

Jeez, most of those pics are from 2008 ish when the recession hit, many people fled Dubai. A few ones I haven't seen before, but most of those pics about the Enzo, the F40, the XJ220, M6 are Hella old.

i've never been to dubai, but in many of the photos it looks like most of the cars are covered in dust. maybe these aren't really abondoned, but were left sitting for a month or so, and accumulated dust during dust storms and whatever? i bet that writing through sand scratches the hell out of the paint, i'd be right pissed if I came to find my car like that haha.

reminds me of the thread where InRich's friend scratched "i'm a douche" or whatever in dirt on the side of his bmw, and it left the words permanently scratched into the paint. :rofl:
