"Currency Motors' 800HP Twin-Turbo M5 - MotorAuthority"

When googling that image.

Pretty sure at 35psi you would be around 1500hp with that v10.

That set up looks so fucking ghetto, I wouldn't let that on any M car lol.

Back on topic, how did he come to that price point? It looks like some garden variety STS rear mount turbo setup. About $6000.00 - $8000.00 installed I'm thinking.

What about that bad ass hood and smoked tail lights, that shit is not cheap. :D

I'm seriously hoping it's just a typo as 2007 M5's are <30K cars.

I remember there was a Jahre sitting on Calgary BMW's lot when I bought my 2 last spring. Apparently all the salesmen were allowed to bag on it before it sold. Definitely not worth more than a regular one. I know because my salesman took it out and was telling me about it lol

According to my girlfriend who was raised just up the street said they are a very, very strange Chinese family. She said at one point they had a hot tub right in the front room where you enter the house .

I remember that house from the late 80s / early 90s sitting at the framing stage for ~5 years, exposed to all sorts of rain, snow, sun, heat, etc... I'm sure that was good for it.

IIRC, the house was also for sale (finally complete) sometime around 2003 for $675,000.

At 35psi on a stock block 12:1 S85 you'd be picking up rod bits the next province over.

I know Gintani did a TT test build on an M3 (S65 is derived from the S85, many shared parts), and they were only able to run about 7PSI safe.

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/calgary/2015-bmw-m5-30th-anniversary-edition/1069872464 Completely off topic, but what's the deal with dealerships like that having brand new expensive cars like that? Why doesn't a bmw dealer have it?

Someone bought it and realized they fucked up. Pawned it off on a high end used seller, because private sale would take forever and they wanted the dosh. Probably got like 180k as a buyout on it.

Yup it was, I remember that actually. Every time I've driven past it they had these god awful blinds right out of 70's, which were ALWAYS closed, I've never once seen a single one open.
