Wife accuses me of snoring. I have no proof but she insists its true.

Anyone tried the mouth guard thingies that are supposed to prevent snoring?

If so what type and how were results?

I use the breathe right strips. Works for me. Try those first.

If so what type and how were results? They're sometimes called snore-guards and there are two kinds:

1. The cheap $50-$100 store bought ones, which "may" help, but are definitely bulky and uncomfortable, and probably a waste of $50.
2. Custom fit ones for you that run $100-$2500. Much more comfortable, often adjustable, and can actually work. Get these from your dentist, if they have sleep apnea training, or a sleep clinic after an assessment.

There is also a third kind. It's made of foam and actually fits into your wife's ears. This is the cheapest, most comfortable (for you) and works very well. They're called ear plugs. :)

Snoring is exacerbated by alcohol, obesity, and bad air flow in the nose.

If you've ever had your nose broken, it can contribute.

Consider seeing a Nose and Throat specialist.
