Looks like a Tomei header flange, is that what it is?

Yeah the header is a Tomei would garage box have the same flange and be able to weld a new one on for me??

The trouble is it'd have to be done with the headers and up-pipe on the car, otherwise there's no way to know the correct orientation of the flange. You could guess, but if it's even the slightest bit off it won't line up with your turbo and the up-pipe brackets.

Could just get a Tomei up-pipe.

Unfortunately that won't do haha what if I took measurements and then get it cut and welded?

I was a idiot and bought the uppipe with the wrong flange

Best way would be to have the new flange handy. Cut the old flange off, put the part on the car, and align flange to where it needs to be. Make two marks around the circumference of the pipe to the flange. Make two marks side by side at one point, and one on the other, so that you know what line goes where. Then get welded. Otherwise, as Sentry said, it needs to be fit up on the car. There is little to NO wiggle room for these. Every little measurement when its compound mitres, etc, tends to stack up against you.

If you REALLY have hard time finding a flange that will fit, you can bring it to me and i can copy it into autocad, and then burn it out on my plasma table. But, itll cost a bit as itll be about a half hour in autocad.

Or i can assist with other means on fabrication if you need one machined

What about going V-band. Cut both flanges off?

No bolt holes to line up but would need to make certain the faces will end up flat against each other.

so another member on wsc offered to sell me their tomei uppipe for extremely cheap, and to get my current vband for the electronic wastegate flange off and to weld it onto the tomei.

thoughts?
