Seriously?

Anyways, Mexico city is something like 7500ft elevation, which means the turbos are going to be maxxed out to make up for lower oxygen. I have no idea which engine manufacturers are running the biggest compressors, suffice to say they'll have the biggest power advantage here.

With the turbo's maxxed out, that means that the MGU-H won't be doing a whole lot of work. This could mean that Honda's gap could close against other engines (Honda's lack of MGU-H recovery is what's killing them right now). I can only hope that's actually the case though haha.

^^ Yep. And they were mentioning the thinner air means the cars have less drag. I wonder what speeds they'll clock in the speed trap. Monza this year was 358 km/h.

FP1 so awesome. Everyone struggling with grip, it's a Formula D show out there.

Reminds me of old school F1 how much oversteer everyone is getting everywhere.

362.2km/h speed traps. holy hell haha.

Mercedes has brake issues. Rosberg had 2 fireballs for wheels for a bit there.

Low speed, the Honda just sounds so good. I just love that they showed the out lap. Poor Mclaren. I want to see them do better. I really do.

NBC in Canada isn't blacked out again this race, which means you can flip between TSN5 and NBC to minimize commercials.

NBC pre race just started! Go McLaren!

edit - 80% chance of rain 1 hour into race.,

Hamilton thinks the team should have let him stay out in an effort to win the race, but honestly winning it that way would have led to a bunch more bad blood. Nico deserved it and with the WDC wrapped up, Lewis should just let this go.

The October deadline for an RBR engine supplier has come and gone. I guess RBR is out of F1 now? :D

I don't know how going to Honda would produce a better season for them next year; seems pretty desperate. Ron Dennis doesn't like it, but it would probably help with engine development.

Sky F1 was saying it's mid-November now.
Some rumors out there too that they might run an unbranded Renault engine.
