Banff - 2 night to party

a buddy and i are heading to Banff for two night Friday and Saturday for night of partying.

where should we go for night life eats, bars, nightclubs etc

Watch the lines at the clubs. They like to line people up even though there is no one inside so it appears they are busy.

aura on fri and Saturday Sasquatch is bumping. Food is only average at best in banff for me maybe i dont go to the good ones

Bars are kind of hit and miss there, but loads of good restaurants. Grizzly house is decent.

Nice start to the night is hanging at Banff Ave Brewing, decent atmosphere, good beer, reliable food.
hangover breakfasts/brunch at Coyotes.

Good thing about Banff is that you can always bar-hop until you find a place you like. Or if you get kicked out of one place.

Hit up Eddy Burger for some decent quick burgers and you gotta try their drink called the 'Trash can'. Also Magpie & Stump has some really good Mexican food. They're all near the bars in the main area of the strip. Chaya for hangover food, it's the perfect way to end the bender.

EDIT: Ooops nvm, this is actually for the week after.

Not sure if its a party, but the Banff Beer Festival is on that night at the Cave and Basin?

Also, for those interested, they have a deal going on. ~$150/couple (1 night) to ~$200/couple (2 nights) + tickets to the event.

I believe there are only 3 nightclubs (Aurora, The Dancing Sasquatch, Wild Bills). If I was forced to be in one all night I'd prefer Dancing Sasquatch but you'll find sluts/dbags in all of them. Plenty of good pubs to choose from so I just try a few out.

As for food I'm not a huge Mexican fan but as mentioned the Magpie & Stump is definitely worth a visit.
