I'm pretty sure this still has an N55 ( somewhere between M235i and M2) no? So not a new engine?

^ Honestly aside from the X5 which is handsome their SUV design language doesn't work. The X4 is probably a great car ( i would have liked to see them do something more clever with the all wheel system on the M Perf Models, like a rear LSD for example) but I could never consider it because it is just plain ugly. Same with X6.

X3 is to small for the design language to really work IMO.

They need to get some fresh talent on their SUV design team imo. But leave the x5 alone.

The new 2018 X3 is on the bmw.ca configuration now. Spec'd out a M40i and it came to about $78k. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the X4 M40i came to about the same price. Although I think you could get a GLC 43 or a SQ5 for less.
