Supposedly supports Force Feedback with a DIY USB adaptor.

Looks like a fun project.

Heard about this on RFD, as users bitched about how the G29 was a complete rip off.

I just ordered the parts lol.

I don't know if anyone is still following this thread but as promised I finished assembling the DIY device and here are my impressions.

I have a Logitech Driving Force GT and tested the GIMx with DriveClub. Let me tell you, the result is really good.

Both Rumble and ForceFeedback worked and I didn't notice any response delay from the wheel (just the regular input delay
for a 30FPS game). Since I didn't have a wheel for the PS4 I didn't purchase any other racing game, so I can't tell how it feels
for a 60FPS game like project cars, but I'm confident it will work fine.

The only issue I run into was during my first playing session the GIMx crashed after one minute, however, after that I played
for one hour without any issues.

The initial setup is a bit confusing, the GIMx wiki doesn't really explain how to setup the wheel, but I found this video on Youtube
that does a good Job explaining it (mind you that this video is for an old version of GIMx, so some steps like installing the drivers are not
needed):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXdocjF0c8c

I did a step-by-step list during my experience:

1- Install gimx-5.6-x86_64.exe

2- REBOOT THE COMPUTER AFTER INSTALLING GIMX.

3- Update Teensy with EMUG29PS4/atmega32u4.hex

4- Connect the DIY USB to the PC and PS4 (Apparently has to be on the powered port)

5- Connect the Wheel to the PC

5.1 - Install the Wheel drivers

6- Connect the DS4 (Turned off) to the PC

7- Load GIMx, select the profile for the wheel, select physical device and check.

8- Press Start on GIMx.

9- Press the PS Button or the equivalent mapped button on the wheel.

10- PS4 should show that a device was connected.

These are the parts I bought. Both worked like a charm for me.

You might find cheaper parts from other sellers on aliexpress, however, there are some "generic" Teensy boards around that won't work
with the original Teensy firmware loader, and at least for me, the one from the link provided worked fine.

I used GIMX 5.6 running on Windows 10

Good luck and have fun deciding on what to spend the saved $400
