In the write-up it says "heath bump" regarding the horsepower, should that read "healthy bump"?

MDX looks pretty similar but the new NSX-inspired hybrid system is interesting.

Did they finally decide to ditch the shield? It looks like a KIA now lol.

Yeah, a bit KIA-ish in the front but still better than the beak.

Nice to see Honda finally giving up on the shield that nobody liked but their designers. Shame that it now resembles a KIA/Mazda spin-off.

Anyone else see Mustang headlights? I can't un-see them.

 Looks great if ya ask me. Front grille looks like Infiniti more than anything else. But anything is better than the old ones. The whole Acura lineup was one of the least impressive at the recent Calgary auto show. Does this finally come with pano sunroof?

Should be similar to what they are already using in the RL shawd which no one knows is a thing

Liking it. Really curious about the all new 3L DOHC V6 mated to the 7sp dct. Which other car can they use it in?

How will this handle the curbs around the starbucks drive-thu? That's the main off-roading for this rig.

The fronts of the sedans are nearly indistinguishable from each other. The RL doesn't stand out in any way.

haha! your bang on. Last time I was in an Acura showroom, (4 months ago) I thought the same thing, junk. I do like the refreshed Honda Accord. Kinda wish I bought that instead of my truck for the winter

This gen has always had SH-AWD though? It is the RDX that dropped it so that it can drive and feel like a CRV.

I don't mind the shield, it's the milk moustache that I hate.

It's funny that they call the hybrid system from NSX but the system debut on RLX but even Acura doesn't want to talk about RLX.

Honda fanboi here:

Acura is not ashamed of the RLX. Although the car exterior is quite vanilla it's one hell of a drivetrain that was released three years ago and likely developed 5 years ago.

Three electric motors, SH-AWD and 377 total hp. The 3.5L engine was designed as shared architecture with the THEN nsx (after the V10 but prior to the 3.5l turbo). The 3.5L in the RLX has true and proper vtec on the exhaust and intake side and produces a conservative 310hp on engine. It's also a a SOHC which makes equal or more power than other DOHC 3.5 V6's.

White knight out. Lol
