FTFY.

And RIP.

I met him in the late 90's, and got him to sign a few of my hockey cards. Guy always had a smile and was happy to talk to anyone, and no matter how dumb the question, he was always polite and respectful.

Class act all the way.

My wife and I met him some 18 or so years ago while waiting to transfer between flights in Toronto. Chatted with him for about 10 minutes and at the end he took out a couple of photographs of himself and signed them for our two boys. Class act and so down to earth, how many hockey stars would take the time to chat with two complete strangers?

Sad news, I remember one day he came to our high school (Dr EP Scarlett) and visited the automotive program/shop. I was just able to catch a glimpse of his face.

RIP Mr Hockey.
