Figure beyond would be a good place to ask as I know there are tons of telecom/IT people here.

Somehow I got stuck with picking out a device to get cell reception to a small cube farm(about 30 people) in a commercial office.

There are so many products out there that range in price from 79$ for a ebay special to over $3000.

One thing I noticed is that most are advertised as 3g or 4g is there not LTE stuff out there?

googling seems to keep coming back to either a Wilson(which seems to be sold as weboost in Canada) or uniden repeater but I am interested in hearing opinions on what has worked good for you.

Project is funded for $2500.00

LTE and 4G are often used interchangeably. I know nothing about extenders, but ones advertising 4G will probably be what you want if LTE or similar speeds are important.

Take this for what it is worth. Your mileage may vary.

Friends of mine buy these for their cottages and many of them spend the $500-600 for a device directly from Rogers or Bell or their local electronics stores. They seem to work just fine without any issues.

A couple friends of mine recently bought devices from AliExpress for $150-200 and they seem to work just as well if not better.

Make sure you're using the right frequency for the towers you're drawing from. I've seen people waste their money on old boosters that don't draw from 700, 850mhz etc;

I had this one awhile ago when I had problems in a basement suite and it worked pretty good.

Not sure what is out there now since that one is discontinued. Wilson was basically the best brand when I was looking, so that'd be my recommendation.
