PNEUMATIC TIRES?

Sign me the fuck up!

EDIT: Aight the remote control is pretty sweet.

EDIT 2:
"Lightweight, can be carried by a small woman."
"Anti-theft features which don't include making it heavy enough that a small woman couldn't pick it up and walk away with it."

Have you ever looked at your phone WHILE driving? Smart.

Id rather go toe to toe with a segway than a 3000+lbs vehicle going segway top out limit.

Why do I want to punch that one guy zooming past the lady with the helmet?

How do those Segway tours operate in Calgary?

Now imagine a bunch of Pokemon Go players on this.

So I went to Amazon.ca today, and this was on the front page for 999$ CAD. If I was not worried about my pennies...[/youtube]

... or your dignity :)

Seriously though, I'd love to try one of those, but what if you have to make a sudden stop? Do you end up face planting?

Remember when "IT" was supposed to revolutionize human transportation? 20 years later, we finally get one that the middle class can afford haha. Let's hope Tesla does a better job with their BHAG.

What is the target user market like? Someone who commutes by walking? I dont see these things being allowed on public transit during peak hours.

Illegally. They are not allowed on public sidewalks and areas.

haha true, but I have no dignity when it comes to unusual transportation. Ever heard of Kangarooo boots... I ran around on those for a while once, it was awesome!

Never seen or head of the Kangaroo boots, but not only would I love to try them, but I've tried even more injury producing foot type stuff like these bad boys:

Ok, never mind my home made roller skates and go karts. For the latter?, I didn't have anything for a proper axel, so a spike through the hub and into the 2x4 had to do :)
