If you've ever wanted to play as Jason Voorhees and give those camp counselors what his mother thinks they deserve then you are in for a treat. With death sequences designed by Tom Savini and models motion captured by Kane Hodder while music by Harry Manfredini plays in the background it's gonna feel pretty freakin close to playing in the movies themselves, and you can select any Jason, even Sackhead from part 2!

Developed with crowd funding the game is supposedly being released this fall, hopefully in time for Halloween. There's a pile of info here, and the first video outlines the initial plans nicely:
