I know it's CFL but maybe speedog and C_Dave45 might care about this game  lol

33-30 Ottawa leading 48 secs left, 1st and goal for Stamps as I type this.

I don't watch many CFL games, but this has actually been a pretty good game. Great run by Calgary in the 2nd half.

Yeah I don't watch CFL either, but for some reason I really wanted to watch this one. The second half was really exciting.

Total nail biter. Awesome game. Shame to lose, but Ottawa fought for it.

Probably the most exciting Grey Cup I've seen.

As with the Canucks, the Lions are my first team but I was totally cheering for the Stamps. If it wasn't for the turnovers....

Yeah, now do you not give the ball to Messem on the 2 yrd line when he's got the will to win and just rolling over guys?! Read the game and players?!

Toss Buckley in, fake run, lateral to Messem, collect the cup.
Then to call "defend first" in OT?! Why?

That comeback was insane, then recovering the onside kick! Damn, can't believe they didn't give it to Messam with 2nd down on the 2. That play call is right up there with the seahawks throwing the interception on the 1 yard line in the super bowl a few years ago

I was so disappointed with Bo that game.

It was his game to lose and he managed it pretty fantastically. Burris walked circles around him in comparison. At 42.

barely watch any CFL, but why be so predictable and have buckley line up with short yardage? It only tightens the d because he is notorious (correct me if i'm wrong) for running it in. Spread option with a run with the starting RB would have been smarter.

I was at the game and that was probably the best CFL game I've ever seen. Calgary was lucky to be as close as they were considering how poorly they did in the first half. BMO Field while smaller than McMahon was a far superior atmosphere. The whole weekend was well run, lots to see and do.

Alls I know is if Calgary won there'd be a guy at work all winter acting like he got a ring. So I'm glad they didn't win.

Also, it's hilarious to see the team blaming each other. I don't think they'll ever figure out that their egos are their undoing. Fuck, they had a guy die this year and in the article Bovine was talking about how good their record was. Every year they rip the tits off it in the regular season and then shit the bed in the playoffs.

All the controversy over the last possession would have been nullified if Paredes would have hit that PAT.
When was the last time anyone saw a kicker miss a PAT?

Didn't they learn anything from Dan Marino? Laces out!

It's a lot more common this year due to the rule change. Up until this year the PAT was kicked from the 12 yard line and nobody ever missed (like once or twice a year). Now, it's from the 32. On the other hand, two point converts are now run from the 3 whereas it used to be the 5. There's a lot more incentive to go for two which makes things more exciting.

^Definitely much more common to see a missed convert now. This is the second season the new rules have been in place though. I think Paul McCallum had a long streak of successful converts going and had his percentage take a significant hit after the rule change.
