Like all speed test sites, there are many factors that affect any test but this one is interesting in that results are being mapped that you can look at including other people's results (that is if they're truthful in their location).

Just checked this out. Getting 6.0 Mbps up, 7.9Mbps down, ping of 35 ms. I'm running cheapest telus package, but lately have noticed it getting bogged down quite a bit.

13 MBPS up, 85 MBPS down, 55ms ping - This is on Shaw 150 at work. :thumbsdow

Leave it to CIRA to create test servers that aren't fast enough to test most of our internet in the city. 18/33mbps here on our gigabit fiber link at work. :rofl:

10/20 flat at work. But then again I'm sure that's internally throttled.

I got better bandwidth to server in TO than Calgary.

I wonder if everyone east of Ontario is using the Calgary server to test and overloads it.
