Happy New Years from one of the old farts around here.

2016 was quite a tumultuous year for our family but it has ended with unexpected and very welcome news which will result in a very exciting future for us. Also far too many deaths of family and friends, another funeral to attend coming right up in the new year - it's been quite surprising how many friends, old coworkers and family I've seen pass in the last 5 years, time for some weddings so the suit can see some positive energies.

So here's to hoping everyone has a great and better 2017, we're ending up the year with our traditional huge-ass fondue, yum.

it was the best of times, it was the blurst of times.

Truly 2016 was that for me, pretty much a constant state of disruption, but Im actually hoping for some more disruption in my life so I can get past the current status in a number of areas. I need a change man.

Happy New Years!
I'm not one to believe the change in the date makes any difference, but it would be nice if 17 was much better than 16!
