Ever want to see what goes on behind the hoarding and covered windows during a new store build?

Currently working on the new Starbucks in Banff:

We arrived to start tiling and walk into this:

By day two we've got some tile down:

Are commercial and/or multi-family builds ever organized?

Give them a week and they will want to sawcut across your new tile, in typical Starbucks construction fashion.

Finally finished. Took a little over 3 weeks. Went back on Monday to finish up the last of deficiencies, etc.
We walked into the store Monday morning hoping to finish up the grouting and replace a "few" broken tile (almost 50 was more like it :whipped: ) and this is how the store looked:

I think the store will actually open to the public on the 14th.

50 tiles broken, was the flooring one of the last things to go in?

No, it went in first.
Cheap tile and 3,000 lb pallets being rolled over the fairly new tile cracked a shit load of them.
