Any other Beyonders living in the area? I woke up this morning thinking it was the sunrise.
Glad no one was hurt in the blaze.

We are not far from the ranch. Sad to see as we like the place and the people who have businesses there are generally nice folks.

I've been there a few times since my mom lives in the area. I was disappointed to hear that this morning. I hope they have plans to rebuild.

Calgary Landmark...
Can't count how many weddings and office parties I have attended there...
It's very sad.

I live in Kincora, so we visit semi-regularly. It is the only place in the area which has proper the capacity to hold holiday events, etc.
It's a pretty unfortunate loss.
My outstanding question: Do they now have roasted ducks in that pen that was sitting outside the front entrance?

Drove by this morning before going to work, the main building is gone and is still burning due to a gas leak. They had so many good holiday events going on that we would take my nephew to, it will be missed :(. I hope they can rebuild and make it better.

The restaurant closed down a little while ago and the farmer market is sad these days. My guess is it's sold to a developer.
We were there on Sunday, the basement was super creepy:

I live up in Evanston and have visited it many times. Haven't heard the best of things on how it was run. So when I heard it was on fire this morning, the first thing I thought of was INSURANCE SCAM ... and then they said it was a "gas leak" .....

:dunno: Why is there a pentagram in their basement? Maybe the gas leak was the result of a summoning ritual gone amuck?

Can't say it didn't cross my mind as well. I heard about a year ago the owners were having difficulty turning a profit with it.

I had thought it had been sold and the new owner was managing the space until it is torn down for housing development. I stopped going after they removed the basement vendors from the farmers market.

Last time I was there was during Xmas.
The GF and I were hoping to get pictures with reindeers but the setup was sad indeed. I can't believe they were charging $30 for it.
