Welcome to my BMW e302 build. This started out as a 4G63t BMW E30 project and when I realized that the 4G63t does not like being turned sideways without serious work it became a Ford 5.0L E30 project.

I even have a bell housing adapter made for the 4G63t to T5 transmission:

The car was never going to be a show car so I don't feel too bad yet.

I brought it to a local shop (Infamous Automotive) and had the transmission and engine mounts made.

Interior is bare:

So my thoughts are:
- Fuel - I had installed a Walbro 255lph fuel pump earlier that I will wire for the Mustang ECU. I will also need to run new fuel lines as the BMW had some weird inline parts in the fuel system (evap stuff).
- Ignition/ECU - I'm running a completely stock ECU and wiring harness that ran the engine when it was in the Mustang I pulled it out of.
- Coolant - I'm a little worried about fitting the radiator so I think I need to switch to an electric fan setup and I'll try to use the factory BMW rad and some universal coolant lines.
- Driveshaft - I'm going to take the two driveshafts to a local driveshaft shop and have them fab something up.
- Exhaust - My goal right now is to just get the engine running and the car moving on it's own so exhaust is low on my priority. The headers and collector are already built so the rest should be simple.
- Lights - Again I just want it to run but I think I'm going to make a simple system for the headlights, taillights and turn signals.
- Steering - I'm going with a non powered steering rack so this is pretty much done.
- Brakes - I'm using a different master cylinder that is meant to fit with a larger engine and was used in this shell previously, this shouldn't be too bad but we'll see.
