In Canada that is, there is really no data, nothing to compare

New cruisers aren't sold in Canada, just the lx570.

Given that Lexus is an upmarket brand from Toyota, it would be safe to assume the Lexus will be more expensive.

As for used, 80 and 100 series value is about the same between the brands

No one ever sells them once they have one, very serious owners. Best to buy from a dealer in the states.

thing is, other than a motor it doesn't share the same platform to the tundra...

Sequia and the LX570 are very different beasts in configurations serving different use cases

TLC is an international overlander and Sequoia is really like the Yukon/Expedition in terms of a SUV based half ton

The LC's year to year will hold much more value over it's Lexus counterpart.

In this case and with the die hard LC enthusiasts the Toyota badge is worth way more...

This along with the fact that 4runners also seem to hold more value than the GX counterpart

The irony is that the LX and GX were likely pavement warriors where as the LC and 4R are more likely to have gone off road / used and abused.

LX costs more for sure, pure luxury. But I'd personally prefer the TLC over the LX. Sweet rig, both are rare here with the TLC being even more rare.

And yeah it's much different than a Yukon for sure, different class.

agreed... Sequoia is the Armada/Tahoe/Suburban multi-ute 7 seater equivalent, and much to a different use case than a TLC

with that said, I do believe there are alot of similarities in the late model LC of which you really have to question the price differences.

I understand a different use case, but they are almost cross compatible for most applications and both are going to be durable as hell

more I read about it... yes the luxury side of the fence, the TLC is basically the same as the LX and the pricing reflects this...

I also have heard that the frame is sturdier on the TLC/LX as compared to the Sequoia but I think that has to be confirmed
