Not sure if this has been asked already, if so, it's being asked again.
Where do you guys go (roads) when you just wanna cruise around and listen to music or just relax a little?

Crowchild
Deerfoot
I like to go cruise around Pump Hill & Lower mount royal
112th Ave NW (aka that road by the dump)
Sarcee Trail SW (nice big hill, good view)
There's a bazillion roads outside of the city that are good for a nice drive.
114th NW is always good. and with the way crowchild and glenmore are now its always a good cruise to work
still my favorite is the cruise on crowchild where you keep going into cochrane than past ghost lake
Highway 8 west, south on highway 22 to Bragg Creek, then east on 22x back to Macleod Trail.
Calgary is so much like an iphone: iCalgary - There's a bylaw for that.
Small communities with windy roads late at night after a fresh snowfall.
Crowchild from way up north to the south is always nice later at night. 22x to Bragg Creek is my favorite though.
I like the loop going west from Turner Valley out into the mountains, then north into Bragg Creek.
The roads are a little rough, but they are usually empty, and the scenery is great.
old banff road (its fun with lots of people at night )
+1 for old banff.
theres a few nice bermed corners on there. but you gotta be carefull because if you go off the road your toast. and theres lots of blind corners
Beddington Trail, out past Country Hills Blvd. Used to be awesome right after hanson ranch but now you gotta drive a little bit further out past a new community. But its great to take at night or in the middle of the day, its got corners and straights, goes all the way out to airdrie.
Alittle far away but take deerfoot all the way south to Nanton, then take the 533, leads over to the 22, but its an amazing road to drive.
cruising and music to relax is the best, I kinda thought i was the only one for some reason
deerfoot
here is my cruze map most of times,
deerfoot-beddington-stoneytrail-16th-sarcee-bow trial-14thst-17thave-mcleaod-22x- 84th-16th then home...takes a few hours but its nice
yeah, be careful. The ditches along most of OBCR are also pretty deep. Look out for deer as well.Originally posted by nikka

Cruise to a small town nearby. Might as well visit somewhere you haven't been instead of driving aimlessly in town.
Eeh sometimes it's nice to just drive around aimlessly cause if you have a destination then there is a purpose to your drive. But then again, I guess if you just drive around listening to music ultimately has a purpose too -- driving around listening to music.
I've been out there quite a few times... I loved it.. didn't know many other people were into it.. I was out from 2am - 4am though.. didn't see any other cars..Originally posted by nikka

Some sweet downhill banked corners, Newly paved sections are nice aswell. It'd be fun to go out there with a few people and rip but it can be sketchy like you said because of blind corners and deer.
Just tried out OBCR and bragg creek on Saturday.
It was nice
