Alright I give the seller kudos for actually trying and admitting there is a problem with the paint.
I just think the seller went too far in reaching for excuses. Could I do better, probably not so I will edit some of my statements as I was unfair.
That said ... Japan really isn't that hot, TOKYO average temperatures.

BTW the paint on my 19 year old car - 1989 Corolls(5 years older than the one being referenced, with over 200,000 kilometers (double the one being referenced)driven in Heat, cold and salt, much like the one above, is in WAY better condition.
The paint on my 22 year old car 1986 Supra (7 years older than the one being referenced )with over 300,000 kilometers (triple the one being referenced) daily driven up until last week - in Heat, cold and salt, much like the one being referenced, is in slightly better condition than the car in the pic.
