Flip flops in the office acceptable for guys? quote:

Or does it look unprofessional and not allowed especially for Worker's Comp reasons? The reason I ask is because its gonna 30+ tomorrow and I've seen women in my office wear sandals, although they look dressier but these are the only sandals I have.

And some there wear suits... I figure if my position doesn't require that attire for whatever reason (ie not meeting clients or vendors), then I'm fair game. Have gone the whole summer without anything said. Of course this is a small company.... I'm sure if this was a larger one where you weren't friends with every single person, then it would come back to haunt you.

But no to flip flops.... nothing gets on someones nerves like the sound of a flip flop going back and forth past their office door.
