I'm not sure if i should be selling this but here is goes. I'll try to be descritive as possible. Or i'll add more info as i remember so.
Up for sale is a rare unrestored 1971 SERIES 1 240z. Build date is October 1970. The car was owned by the owner of Beta Motorsports in La Habra California. These guys modify and race z cars. The car has been repainted over the years but never restored. Please keep in mind that this car is 38 years old! Its not perfect!
odometer reading is about 87,000 miles. But its only five digits. Could be over 100k miles.
The good:
-california car. Never seen snow. very little rust.
-280zx l28. Stock.
-motorsport auto 4 core rad with 12" electric fan
-new alternator.
-crane fireball electronic ignition. (no crappy point ignition!)
-msd coil.
-i was told that the clutch is a year old
-modified short shifter.
-late 280zx 5 speed transmission.
-urethane moustache bar bushings.
-15" konig rewind with pretty much new tires.
-front and rear strut tower brace bars.
-tokico hp shocks.
-eibach pro springs.
-suspension techniques front and rear sway bars.
-porterfield rs4 front pads.
-UNCRACKED reproduction dash!
-momo steering wheel
-xenon front air dam.
-autopal h4 headlights.
-headlight covers.
-2.5" exhaust
-upgraded fuse block
the bad:
-very minor rust. a fingernail sized hole on passenger side floor that looks more like damage, than a rust hole.
-missing front and rear windshield chrome trim. But i have brand new one for the front, and you can take one off from the rear on the parts car.
-notorious z car exhaust fumes when driving with windows rolled down.
-its 38 years old. Its got paint chips and cracks.
