Default Anyone recommend good contractors for a Concrete or Stone Patio and walkway

We are looking to get more use out of the backyard so we are wanting to do either a stamped concrete patio area and walkway, or going with a landscaper and doing a stone patio. Let me know if you know of anyone you can suggest. I have a plan my wife did up and the look she is wanting so I can send that to anyone able to give ballpark pricing. Would like to find good pricing, but I also want quality work and know that will cost more than joe schmoe doing work out of a beat up pickup.

Thanks for any leads you can send my way.

Try http://www.ridgelinedevelopmentsinc.com - mostly home developing, but pretty sure they do outdoor areas as well

or http://www.assiniboinelandscaping.com/ - exterior landscape developers.

Call Sam at Hascon, really good guy and can help you out with the concrete.

We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside us.

Thanks guys. Another user had recommended Sam at Hascon as well through a private message, and we are going to be using him. Ridgeline doesn't do either, and Assiniboine never responded to my email. Sam was a fair bit cheaper than the other quote we got as well, and it is good to see he was recommended by more than one user on here. It sounds like he does a lot of builder work as well, so that is encouraging. Will update once it is done.

    Thanks again for the suggestions.

When is your project going to be completed or is it done already?

We booked with Sam on Wednesday and he was here and got all the prep work done on Saturday. The concrete should be coming Wednesday or Thursday. Will post pics once it is done. So far so good though. He was doing 5 jobs in the area on Saturday, so they were at our house till dark finishing up, but they got it all done in the one day.

maybe unrelated, but citywide development quoted me $250/sqft for tear down and build of a duplex - 1800sqfr per side. They also quoted me $200 in July of 2009.

Thought I would update the thread. The concrete has been done, and our yard is almost done. Sam @ Hascon was a great contractor, and we were really happy with the work as well as the price. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

    Here are the pics

    Thanks again Sam.

Is there a certain type of brick/concrete that is best suited for a firepit like the one below?
Will probably give him a call as well.

Maybe its my eyes going bad as I'm getting old or just the way it was photographed , but I don't see any deep cuts in the sidewalk or patio .
Also , is that a area below the first chair with water pooling ?

Funny you should ask. We didn't realize but they came back last night to put the cuts in. Will update the pics once the backyard is completely done.

    Old thread bump...

Hascon's website doesn't work anymore. Who else should I be looking at for stone patio work and getting a quote soon?

And anyone know the average sq ft price?
