TAKING DEPOSITS FOR THE $100 EARLY-BIRD PRICE TILL TUESDAY AT MIDNIGHT



A couple changes from the last night will be in effect...

First change will be the use of the oval. Due to a communication error with Race City we had the impression that we had free rein of the oval. In reality Race City would like us to use it only for those not comfortable with drifting on the road course yet. What does this mean? This means if you are comfortable on the road course there can not be any driving back and forth between the two tracks. If you are not comfortable feel free to use the oval and once you feel like you are ready for the course you may head over there. If you are comfortable on the road course feel free to go for ride-alongs with the guys in the oval during your off track time and give them some pointers!

Also if you are a photographer and would like to come out and shoot, please send me a PM with a link to your portfolio and a description of your intentions of the use of the photos you will be taking. There will now be media passes in effect for anyone with a DSLR and that would like passed the stands to shoot.

I haven't been to any of your events before, but how are you managing people who are lapping and people who are drifting on the same course? How many people do you typically allow out at one time?

we do sets of lapping then sets of drift separate. Rhys manages it, so he can speak more to it. but so far we have not had more than 14 lapping drivers out at a night so we have yet to run into crowded track issues. lots of the time not everyone is driving at once either so a group of lapping is between 4-9 drivers from what i have seen.

Ohh tempting, I enjoyed the last one I was out at a lot.

this should give you guys an idea of what the track conditions are like at our days... remember there is normally twice the drifters out at once than lapping guys' sets due to how the numbers have been so far this year.

so lapping is even less. i personally got out for 4 laps of lapping last time and didnt even see a car the whole time out... and i may have even spun on my first lap

I've been out to every single one to shoot it, and they are very well run. Between Eric and Rhys I don't think there is a single problem they can't handle.

Everybody gets equal track time too. Last time if I recall correctly, each group got 5 laps then a switch off. Was very fair for everybody.

yeah, sorry i have been waiting to send out info to those who have contacted me till i have solidified the running of this date. as of now i need a lot of deposits... LOTS, not sure what happened to my driver pool this month but it seems to have diminished

Deposits for calgary's July 20th's night will be taken up till noon monday thanks to race city extending our deadlines... lets make this night happen!

Media passes should not cost anything. First event I have EVER heard of where you pay to shoot.

I don't mind. Have to spend money to make money.
