Shattered cell phone glass

Have a phone with a shattered screen and just looking for a temporary fix. Any chance someone here knows if acrylic resin would work?

Saw someone on youtube doing it...no idea if it's legit



If it's legit, anyone know someone with the materials that can do it on a budget?

Spend the $30 and buy a new screen off ebay. It will be as cheap if not cheaper than any sort of temporary fix and comes with the tools you need.

I'd be afraid of the resin making the screen impossible to change should I decide to go that route.

Screen is shattered. Body is bent. It's a Note 3. I'm going to buy a new body with digitizer and screen when I can actually get the parts but want a temp fix in the meantime. Why spend $50 now only to spend $300 later on the perm fix.

Even $300 is cheaper than a replacement phone. Yea, I can probably bend the body back, but replacement glass without an autoclave will look like garbage.
