    Default LF: Storm Door installer

Hey guys, I am currently looking for a storm door installer. If you've dealt with anybody/company, please post your positive or negative experiences.

    Thanks in advance.

I talked to a few companies, and they won't touch them anymore. Too many variables, and too many problems. It's FAR too easy to screw it up during the install, or simply have something go horribly wrong that you didn't anticipate.

Is a 'storm door' a screen door or a main door or a screen door? I'm about to attempt a screen door install this weekend, maybe in for a few headaches?

My wife has been bugging me about putting in a storm door. Maybe I should tell her to call spikerS?

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

It's really easy to do yourself. The hardest part is cutting the metal to length.

I bought one of those ones from lowes, it took about 6 hours to install. Was pretty easy. Some parts are easier with 2 people.

How about one of those screens you just pull across the doorway from one side to the other?

My father in-law installs doors for Home Depot as a sub-contractor. I think their main brand they only sell with installation included, which took him 45 minutes each for my house. These are full view glass, up/down sliding hidden screens.
