Default Where to buy galvanized furnace ducting?

I'm finishing up my range hood ducting and need a handful of 45˚ elbows and other fittings in 6" dia galvanized steel. Thus far Home Depot and Rona have been underwhelming with the selection and availability of pieces. Managed to find some straight runs but that was it.

Where do the pros go for this type of stuff?

    Ecco.

Would insulated flex ducting work for you? That's what I used for mine. If you want to use an adapter to go down to 5", I've still have half a box left (around 25') I could sell you cheap.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Awesome, thanks for the replies all!

Tik-Tok - Thanks for the offer, but the installation instructions warn against the use of flexible ducting due to its inherent inefficiency. They basically say 1ft of flex pipe is equivalent to 2ft of regular. Since we opted for the lower-CFM fan motor I'm trying to maximize the airflow.

Your point about insulation is a good one, and I probably should look into some insulated wrap to prevent condensation.

Am I crazy or did Ecco just open up a new shop on 32nd Ave NE?

Yes, do not use flex for kitchen exhaust. Do: wrap the exterior of the pipe with foil-backed thermal insulation from the exterior termination back to the unit, or at least 10' back from the exterior termination. Ecco is basically where your home depots and ronas get their stock from, but they mark it up at least a 100%.

Do not use flex for anything, ever.
