Default Froster/Twister ice cream to slushy ratio and prefered flavor combos

I prefer to have more ice cream than slushy, basically 3/5 soft ice cream and 2/5 slushy, the one is I just picked up I shorted myself on the ice cream and I began to wonder what others liked.

So far the only flavor combo Ive tried with a Froster from Macs is butter pecan ice cream and Pepsi slushy.

I usually pick 3 flavours (last was blue whatever, orange crush, and mango/pinapple I think) with a generous layer of ice cream between each of them. So almost half and half. I always forget to pick a ice cream flavour so its usually just vanilla

The technical term for this is called a "Screamer". Living in BC I used to go to a small store in Richmond and they had the best I've ever had and the rest are all garbage. The key to a good one is actual ice cream not frozen milk varieties.

The only place I know of in Calgary to make these "properly" is at the Zoo.

In my world the proper term is a snojo. I had one yesterday. Not many flavors of slush and only vanilla is what we have here, but cream soda and vanilla is my shit.

Screamer is the only name I heard these things being called. Red Rooster was the store that I remember selling them in the 80s

Only known them as screamers. Most places let you make your own so as long as the ice cream is good you can't go wrong.

I do half and half layered.

Mckenzie macs does as well. To answer the question: cream soda:small layer ice cream:blue raspberry: ice cream to top. Only vanilla, never thought flavours would be better than vanilla
