New Process transfer case?

Hey guys not too familiar with these but I picked up an old modded S15 for a winter beater and it has a bunch of spare parts in the back. There is a transfer case that says "New Process NC 207 C3" on a stamp. The guy I bought the truck from said it was a good case, but I have no clue. Are these just the stock one from the S15 in 1986? As I seem to just come up with Jeep results on Google. I have no use for it, so not sure what to do with it.

They came in:

1982-88 GM Blazer/pickup/Jimmy, S/T10 series (the downsized trucks)
1987 Dodge Dakota pickup
1983-88 Jeep Cherokee, Wrangler, Wagoneer, Comanche

Aluminum case, chain drive, and not very strong. Not desired for serious off-road play. Generally only desired by people wanting or needing to replace their existing 207 to quickly and easily get back on the road.

They are very good for 3 things: prop open a door; hold down papers on a desk; anchor a (light) boat.

Yeah it's the stock case. It's the predecessor to the NP231, same drive modes, just a bit weaker and not as reliable. The 207's low-range isn't as deep at the 231, either. Not many folks would want one, for the same application they'll usually get a 231 instead as they're plentiful and cheap and have much better aftermarket support than the 207.
