Default Fill in holes in Bumper from plate mount

    Hey Beyond,

Didn't realize they riveted the front licence plate holder into the bumper. Just picked up car from dealer, do I have any lenience on having this repaired by dealer?
If not, what have you used to fill the holes? Vs. going bondo route etc etc...

Is there any plugs or anything for this?

I'm sure you can get some rubber plugs to clean that up worst case scenario. Or sometimes for Subarus there's like a metal plate you can put there to clean up the plate mounting holes.

You are seeking Bumper Plugs, the dealer might have them. But they'd be unpainted. Or go here and be done with it: https://www.bumperplugs.com/index.ph...&product_id=78

Or you can spend three hours (drive to store buy plugs, drive to Ford buy paint, drive home, paint and install) and follow these instructions: http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/diy-h...ome-depot.html

I paid for some bumper plugs that were color coordinated with my car, they were like $30 for the pair. But i've seen similar plugs at hardware stores for like 50 cents each, and you can just color it with some touchup paint. You might have to drill your bumper holes bigger for the plug but that's it.

These are the plugs you can look for at a hardware store and color yourself:

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Wow what a coincidence, I just brought an EVO over from BC and I was going to have to do the same thing. Good call on the bumper plugs.
