Mitsu, are you resetting it after you notice the time gain after the 5-7 day period?

I haven't done anything yet - I reset it once about a week ago precisely to atomic time, and since then I've been paying attention and I have noticed it has been fast. It's now a full minute fast after what is probably a bit more than a week. Some googling suggested +/- 2 seconds a day was normal which made me think something might be up with mine which is about 4 times that. Obviously this is not a big deal, but if it's not performing within spec I would like to know. Given that it's been serviced by Hamilton at least twice now I would have expected the time keeping to be one thing they inspected before returning it, but I have no idea.

+/- 2 a day is not correct unfortunately.
As mentioned by Strider, even a COSC calibre allows for a 4-6 second variation per day.

If you're at about +9 seconds per day, you're definitely within spec.
I'd keep wearing it and see if it starts to lose a few seconds a day.

Sounds good, thanks guys. I'll keep an eye on it going forward but it sounds like I'm close to spec.
