i've used engg basement and it's not that bad. i wouldn't recommend the mech building just because you don't spend much time in there (unless you're 4th year). plus i hate that place with a passion.

I'm not saying the engg basement is bad, it's just that my classes are quite scattered in different places this year and no matter what the science basement is always on my way when I get to or leave school taking the train.

Not looking forward to starting class this week while everyone still gets to enjoy summer. I have the mech block week course ENME 101... what are hell are we suppose to be doing from 9 to 5 anyway?

That's what I thought 3 years ago. And it said saturday too! WTF.

And then you show up to find out you have to attend like a hour every day where they take attendance.

I have a locker in MFH, size large, and it easily fits my helmet (fullface). I walked around the school and this was the best size locker for a helmet. I don't know if any will still be available though...

Anyone have any roadmaps/textbooks for 3rd year electrical? Please and thanks

Question for recent graduates who did internships: Did you guys notice any differences in your internship interviews and EIT position interview? More technical content? Same behavioral quesitons? Should I be preparing more for EIT interviews?

Road maps for ENEL 353 and ENCM labs would be great.

Also, any ENGG 319 materials would be greatly appreciated as well. The professor is horrible

^ Enns for 319? I don't think he's a bad prof, it's just that he hasn't taught us anything yet. 4 lectures in and all we got are the 2 basic permutation and combination formulas... we get it, Toyota does stuff with stats, now can we please move on?

Hopefully the tutorials will actually be useful. BTW do you have his lecture at 3?

Haha yeah he get's side tracked way too much.
All I remember was that Intel used to make watches.
Thinking about just reading the textbook at the pace we are going right now.

And no, I have him in the mornings at 10am.

I think he actually plans those ramblings, I mean just look at his slides. About 50 or more per chapter, but only two or three has any math in them. Everything else is just stuff like philosophy of stats or why stats is important.

But I wouldn't be too worried about the pace. He teaches all the sections, and seems to know what we're suppose to cover so I don't think it's a big deal.

ahh, I think we're in the same class..

If you read the text, it covers a lot of what he talks about, I read ahead for the first week, and that made the lectures direly boring.

I kinda wish he'd do more examples of actual stuff, I feel like I dont learn much of anything there...or nothing sticks anyways.

Sidenote: I've been advised that I should get roadmaps for my lab courses. I just transferred from MRU to the UofC so I know no one in this school to help with this.

If anyone could help me with a roadmap for ENGG201 and PHYS369 I would be incredibly grateful, I could get you a case of beer or some sort of payment for it even
