It's already substantially overvalued relative to its peers due to all the hype around Hunter. Some very impressive results will need to start showing up in the next few months if the upward momentum is to continue.

Generally speaking, I do think it will be another great year for the railroads and pipelines and that's where I'll be putting my money. Just not CP since I don't know where it'll go.

That said, my overall performance in these competitions and in my actual account the past two years would suggest you disregard everything I say.

^^ and you are right it is overpriced vs. CN. I would of thought it was expensive @ $85 but here we are @ 107 today, and the stock still has momentum. Even the boss is still buying...I've heard Q4 might be good......(but what do I know **Disclaimer not an expert either.....)

Definitely a lot of hype surrounding Hunter...I'll give you that. But he's getting results, moving more traffic faster and cheaper. That's a recipe for money in my opinion.

We'll keep holding it. It might not constantly climb, but I think results will continue. Q4 results are being announced January 29th.

Does anyone know of an online pool for this type of competition where we can create a beyond group?

It would be sweet to do on a site where you can buy / sell at any time and also see the dividends.

I've done a little searching but still haven't found anything that would fit our needs.

That site looks awesome. $100K CAD till Dec 31st with options. Maybe take trades down to $5 cost range and shrink margin interest down some? I don't trade on margin, so not sure what rate to use there. The rest of the defaults look pretty good I think.

What were your final option settings? I can't seem to find them on Investopedia.

I think $5 or $10 comissions for all types of orders and 3-4% margin is good. Maybe $1 per contract for options (I don't do a lot of option trading though so I'm not sure what standard rates are for discount brokers).

Works for me. Margin through my Interactive Brokers account is only 3.2% - I don't really trade on Margin much so not a huge deal to me....6% is pretty steep though.
