No way they're getting an airport with any airlines servicing it in there within the next 10 years. Even Revy still doesn't have one that anybody flies to.

See thats where you wrong. Flights have been running since last year. Mind you I think $300 is a bit steep.

Yeah it's a shame it's 6+ hours away through hwy93, probably one of the most dangerous mountain highways in the area.

We need a highspeed train that will get you there in an hour or so, either from Calgary or Edmonton, then it would be viable.

Still looks like an awesome mountain though!

Even for a "destination skiier" that extra two hours over somewhere like Revy will be a big deal. That plus, Revy draws people from Kelowna, kamloops and other decent sized towns.

I hope they do well, I just don't see it.

Went to sunshine on Sunday and had an awesome time, still some good snow up there so I might try my luck again next weekend.

Yeah I went to Sunshine last weekend and was surprised there was still a lot of good snow. Not sure if I'll make it out again this season though.

this weekend might be my last as well, getting better with ski (did my first black yesterday) so want to go as many as times as I can before season is over.

Yeah for sure! I only got to go out once this season. For some reason it just kind of slipped my mind and before I knew it, the season was almost over.

I would have joined you, but I'm leaving for vacation the day after.

Monday is norquays last day of the season! Just sunshine and Louise now.
Sunshine has been seeing the best powder of the year these last few days.
It's still full winter up there!

Norquay was pretty decent today, aside from the continuous pellet snow, low visibility and the fact that far chair broke down around noon. I had a fun three and a half hours and got the hell out of there.
