Wanting to pick the brains of someone that could give me some ideas on some retail spaces for lease. I am not looking to jump into anything yet, but I am more trying to find the pulse on what going rates are in different areas of the city, and see some examples of what different dollar amounts can get you.

Hey, I worked for a developer doing leasing for a number of years.. I can certainly help with some questions... as for rates, most brokers wont publically post them but should list all available locations on their sites. Prices will all be location and quality related.. anything new or great location will most likely be in the $30-40 psf range plus Additional costs (Op Costs) which will be another $15-20 depending on the building.

CBRE
Avison Young
Colliers

You can also check loopnet or Kijiji.
