    Default Banana apocalypse.

Figured it was worth a mention as a random tidbit of information. Its just a matter of when according to some.

The Cavendish banana may go the way of the Gros Michael. One day you've got 100 billion bananas, the next day - its extinct.

Enjoy them bananas before its too late!

Gros Michael isn't extinct. You can still get it in HK. They're huge, and would fuck up scale, so not recommended. I believe they've GMO'd Gros Michel to be resistant, but Cavendish is way easier for mass production and distribution. They've probably already GMO'd resistant Cavendish already.

    Bananas aren't going away.

I thought I read about this years ago and at that time there was a solution in development? Bananas seem so normal but really they're not...

The bee crisis is something to panic about.
