Isnt it union though? I know the application process to move up can be difficult. CN Rail is a great gig man, I would stick with it.

Got promoted last week but didn't tell the team until Monday. A couple people on my team are on beyond so waited to post. Now the Work Leader for our Distribution Planning Group. Same company. Been contracting or employed here since 2008 at this point. Start March 9th. The guy I am replacing has been in the team for 20 years. I get 3 weeks to learn before he retires.

Sick of camp life on top of just moving to Calgary has got me ready to quit and maybe try selling cars.

Man, just tough it out. If you suck it up at camp for a couple more years, you'll be in a great position to climb up quickly once you get your P.Eng.

Assuming we still have an energy industry in Calgary by then.

I'm so sick of O&G, granted I've been going it for 10 years now it's time for a change.

I just bought my dream house down in Mahogany and have my vehicles paid off. I really don't need the O&G money anymore! lol
