The X5 i bought earlier this year really is FULLY LOADED though not a single option missing including infrared night driving
Laid off today, total blind side. Pretty upset actually, no gratuity, no appreciation which I believe is well deserved haha but they need to hire an actual PEng.
They can get one now for what I was being paid as PM.
So I am officially unemployed. I do still have my cnc machines but I really never found a niche and ultimately went back to work.
Should be a way better summer being at home!!!!
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
26 - consulting (talent management/strategy, board governance, executive compensation)

Nice! I must say the future of the offshore is looking very bright, especially if Brent can maintain ~45 .Originally posted by SkiBum5.0
Good move! Used to spend 1 week a month in St John's. Still have a few good friends at Husky/Exxon. How are things looking there? With the Hercules departing that only leaves them with 2 rigs running right (HGR and WAQ)?
I believe the HGR is going to be around until 2020ish while the WAQ is drilling for Exxon until next Spring. The Statoil office seems to be continually growing so I'd imagine something is on the horizon with them. More parcels are going out for bid in November so it'll be interesting to see how the results compare to the 2015 bids.
Seems like a much higher certainty of future developments here...it's made this a very pleasant adjustment.
28 - Process / project engineer specializing in gas plant design. Should have my P.Eng in the next few months. Been working for 5 years in oil & gas / EPCM industry.

37 - Event Manager for TELUS.
Don't let the title fool you, it has nothing to do with parties.
Basically is layman's terms, when something breaks that's big enough (impacts more than X # of customers, or takes away X% of network capacity, or X number of cell sites go down) I become the guy in charge. I can manage up to 500 people at any given time, deliver reports to our Directors/SVP/VP/CEO/Board on events, and work to effectively resolve any situation at TELUS that has to do with network infrastructure, and capacity.
I was one of the lead guys in charge during the fort Mac fire this year.
