My Dairy Lane burger was super dry and overcooked when I had it a few months ago. Too bad because they use great ingredients.

oEB soul in a bowl is the single best dish I have had in this city. Hogs and scallop in particular.

Agree with Pfanntastic and Brava lobster poutine being on the list. White Elephant has an awesome Tom Yum. Just need to find a good laksa. Banana leaf will have to do for now.

Thanks for the posts, jwslam, Jorand, and Rural Juror. I'll update the list tonight and add some dishes that are automatically 'verified' as it was suggested by >2 Beyonders.

As for Pizzeria Gaga, I had a taste and I'm not sold on it just yet. I think I'll try a different pie to see how it fares to the competition.

I'll add Cibo but I've had their pizza and it's meh.

I'm also throwing Pumpkin Pie @ Blackfoot Diner as our list is seriously light on dessert. I think ercchry can verify my entry.

Honestly, any pie is good there.

I will give a +1 to the Rose Lychee Macarons from YHP. Tried them today for the first time. So good.

I voted for the Matsaman at White Elephant. Either way, any curry item on their menu should be on this list. IMO, best Thai food I've ever had.

I really like the deep fried fish in tamarind sauce at Juree's, give me that and a big plate of coconut rice and I am a happy man.

List has been updated with more 'verified' dishes added.

OEB has Soul in a Bowl as 'verified' so Hogs & Scallops can't be on our list unless someone wants to challenge it!

So far, Gladys Ridge Burger has a vote so I'll see if I can go there later and try it out.

OEB Hogs and Scallops is a variation of their Soul in a Bowl, so either works.

Shiki was pretty impressive today. YHP didn't have the rose & lychee, but I tried a bunch. Don't think they are as good as Market's offerings for dessert.

I probably said it somewhere before, but I tried Ho Won's Salt & Pepper Squid and it was meh. Nothing special to be honest. Also Brava lobster poutine was terrible IMO. There is barely any cheese curds and the sauce they use is all watery. I thought maybe it was just a mistake on their part, but upon looking at all the pictures online, they look exactly the same. Worst poutine ever man.

How does this look any good at all? Nothing sticks to the fries, it's all such a soggy mess. All the "broth" is at the bottom. Why is it so watery?!

This is the lobster poutine at National's. Tons of cheese and lobster goodness. I think it's a clam chowder gravy on it which makes it unique. As you can see, TONS of lobster. Worth your money and delicious. Goes GREAT with beer. Love it.

Since we have a lack of dessert, I'll recommend you to go to Cerezo for selection of desserts. One of my favorite is the yogurt cheesecake. Their lemon tart and earl grey tea tiramisu is good too if you want a medley of desserts. Chances are they won't have all 3 available at the same time. All homemade and fresh.

Yogurt cheesecake; don't let the picture fool you. It is so soft, mousse like. The texture is just amazing. Trust.

Their drinks are also amazing. The best London Fog I've ever had there, which goes great with the desserts. They also have latte's (green tea latte, etc.) that are good too.

Agree about the poutine. Briggs has a decent one as well.

Does it Deserve to Be On Beyond's List? (Y/N): Yes

This burger was awesome. I loved the truffle and arugula combo (aquired taste for some) and even though the patty was a little smaller than the Dairy Lane Burger, the combination of the toppings at an $11 price point brought it home. I would have given it a higher score, but the mushrooms were a tad bit on the greasy side, but still VERY good. It didn't come with a side, but if you add on $4 for the garlic parm fries, it would be worth it, cause that was very good as well. But that's beside the point. Presentation was kinda cool, I do like the branded buns and the old-time basket style liner. It's only a take out joint so it was all packaged in a to-go box as is making it fairly easy to eat while sitting outside.

I'll get around to trying more of these to help with verification

Need's more breakfast items if possible, as well as a few more dinner/entree items that are worth mentioning:
I had it yesterday. I'll agree with everything you mentioned but I have to put the caveat that you HAVE to get it with garlic parm fries.

One of the best burgers I've had,

I'll update the list. I'm pretty pumped that this is picking up pace.

Noticed that there is no Milkshake on this list. Being a quintessential indulgence should we not have it on the list?

I can verify that the doughnuts at MARKET are awesome! Fluffy with white chocolate sauce... Mmm.

However, I think the pork belly sharing platter should be on our list. Best pork dish I've had. Crispy skin with a sweet sauce and nice seared scallops. It had gnocchi and sweet corn puree that complemented the pork very well.

It was an adventure on a plate haha.

Not in the regular menu but the goose was also delectable!

Someone confirm the burgers and looks like the Brava poutine has been challenged with the National equivalent.

    Someone confirm!

Tried the Gladys Ridge Burger today. Really good. Better than Blue Star IMO but both are worth a try.
