can vouch for this, one of the best food I ever had in Calgary for sure.
We tried Panang Curry w/ chicken the next week, Prawn's texture just works so well with Panang Curry.
Also Coconut rice and Thai Iced Tea.
Tea is easy to make at home though

will be trying Giuseppe's Risotto this friday

at OEB I like their Porchetta
Had their Hogs & Scallop, didn't like it though as not a big potato lover

You can save the trip. They decimated their menu last year, pretty much down to a pizza and pasta joint now.

The only food in Calgary that I consistently crave for after all these years is still the Sate Beef at Pho Dau Bo.
It tastes the same as Basil, so Dau Bo wins by default. I prefer to chow down my pho like my bitches, from da hood.

Preferred the Kara garlic miso with butter and goma mazemen to the chilli goma at shiki. Char Siu taco wasn't bad either.

My gfs dad actually owns Giuseppes, it has fallen on some hard times do to bad management/bad luck and the fact that he doesn't put 100% into. He is working on getting one of the old Chefs back and hopefully that will turn things around. I am very surprised that he hasn't put if up for sale yet. The pizzas and pastas are still pretty good though.

Nice, a lot of activity going on.

Removed Jojo's BBQ and Giuseppe's Risotto while added Pho Dau Bo's pho sate.

Burger 320 Gladys Ridge burger, National Lobster Poutine, MARKET donuts, Model Milk crab cakes have now been verified and added more desserts.

Anyone have a challenge in mind? I'm all foodie'd out from vacation and I just want oatmeal and salad right now

Just had the Chili Goma @ Shiki Menya. First time ever eating ramen actually.

    Definitely a big

I would add the Beef Brisket @ Briggs to the list. Had it a few weeks ago....SO GOOD.

    EDIT: didn't read the rules
    - Dish Chosen: Beef Brisket @ Briggs
    - Taste: 9/10. Nice smoky flavour (apparently they smoke it for quite a while the night before)
    - Presentation: 9/10. Comes with some fried onion crisps which compliment it very nicely
    - Does it Deserve to Be On Beyond's List? (Y/N): Hellz yes!

Also, definitely would challenge the shawarmas at Jimmy's A&A. absolutely disgusting. When will people realize that bigger != better with shawarmas? You can't even eat that thing without a fork and 50 napkins.

Any shawarma place in Calgary is better, but I will pick the shawarmas at Saaj Grill

Salted caramel was delicious. Was going to go there for some today but didn't feel like waiting 35 minutes in line.

I vouch for Jerusalem Shawarma being better than Jimmy's.

The best was when they still had the salted caramel sundae, so I would get them to switch out the vanilla for salted caramel so I could double up

    rootbeer was goat though

I'll update the list again this week!

Went to The Living Room with some Beyonders and the beef tartare was great but we preferred the grilled calamari more.

I'll confirm this one as well - Potato, Onion, Bacon & Cheese Pannenkoek (w/ Sour Cream) @ Pfanntastic Pannenkoek Haus

I get it with egg instead of onion. Changes it slightly but is still the only thing I really order when I go there.
