Probably. OP could be the biggest idiot in the world for all we know, but referring to him as an idiot in an email (even one just meant to stay internal) is unprofessional as all hell, and needs to be dealt with.

Again, the second I realized I was manipulated and that the manager was being disengenuous, I wrote the letter to middle management. I sent that timeline after the middle management person didn't respond to me with a correction to his math.

Why is the NSF fee their fault? Automatic payments get "bank taped" a few days before the withdrawal date. $35.00 is Intact's NSF Fee, not $40.00.

I don't know what banking taping is. Maybe the NSF is not their fault but thats minor.I don't consider myself to be an idiot but I'm sure I have had idiotic moments. This incident was not one of them. In fact, I wasn't evem being persistant. I was professional in my conduct all the way through. She was upset about me ccing her and was resisting the fact that they messed up by not arranging the manual on the Friday as promised. It was unprovoked. They fell victim to their own incompetency.

Unfortunately you can't be professional and not persistent. That just makes it easier for them to blow you off. You've got to be an annoying little prick to get anywhere with insurance companies, since that's all they understand. They've made it clear they want to 'get rid' of you, make it clear the only way that's going to happen is for them to give you what's owed. Make it obvious you're not backing down.
