If you're in Inglewood, Ramsey, Sunnyside or Eau Claire, get home and get your shit together NOW!!!
Word from inside the City is that they're expecting a mandatory evac order for those areas tonight with a very good chance that downtown will be flooded tomorrow.
You mean the core? That would be ridiculous...Originally posted by Duckman

fuuuuuuck off, the full communities?!
i dunno if its better now or later with the shit show that will be traffic
and the NW wins again
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

Bearspaw Dam is spilling hard, worried about Ghost. All the water that washed away Canmore has to flow through downtown Calgary.
So crazy! Hope everyone stays safe and dry.
According to the guy I sent home that lives on 8th Ave, the south bridge is barely above the water.Originally posted by Cos
More than likely why they are evacuating the Zoo. Not because the water may go over but the Zoo, along with some of these communities are almost islands. If the bridge goes out now you have people stuck on the other side.
The big flood that took out the first Centre St bridge about 100 years ago completely washed over St Georges Island.

Seems like there are still concentrated areas of rainfall to the west of Calgary, and some to the east as well.
Wonder how badly shit hits the fan...
any HVAC experts around?
if im evacuated and my basement fills with water, what happens with the furnace? should i turn off the gas to it before i have to leave?
Probably not, gas will get turned off at the distribution valve, then poor schmucks (atco or fire) will probably have to go turn them off at the houses...
If it erodes enough of it's 2 bases on the side, it'll collapse. Doesn't have to actually be high enough to hit the bridge.Originally posted by 88CRX
