As much as this sucks, Eric Francis predicted a win for the Flames in game 2 and the Ducks winning in 7, I'm fucking happy he's wrong, can't stand that guy.

it's more frustrating to see them lose this time around than the same match up 2 years ago since I dont see Anaheim being as dominating as before and there was just so many chances the Flames had but really none went our way when it counts.

oh well, I will only get excited again if the Flames can win both home

Both games with boneheaded plays that attributed to "The Curse". Flames played well and could have easily won both, but the hockey gods just weren't on their side and is getting beat by a more experiences team. Lesson learned and hopefully they can show more consistency at home.

Flames have released what looks like a couple rows scattered around the second bowl this morning, most are already gone.

Other then that there are maybe 40-50 single seats around the dome and uber expensive lower bowl pairs ($400/seat an up). Slim pickings.

No pairs less that $350 each as of this morning.

So basically sold out yes.

Basically sold out? For the playoffs there shouldnt be anything left remaining... its a bit shocking to see. Even single seats in other cites are snapped up.When teams release their extra tickets they are gone instantly. Im a bit surprised any regular priced tickets can be bought right now

There are always single seats available. In 2004 we were buying single seats on game day or the night before all the way up to the finals when they finally were more difficult to get.

And there are always more tickets released on game day, which is whats happened in the last hour or two. As of two days ago there wasn't a pair of seats anywhere outside for $400/seat lower bowl club seats.

50 empty single seats out of 20,000 is nothing.

They do this as a matter of policy now, so that people actually have a chance to get tickets.

Also I think new this year is that seats are only sold in adjoining pairs?

No way in hell should refs have called that penalty on Dougie. Letting so much go all game then calling that was BS considering Perry interfered more with Dougie on the play. You either let it go (as you have all game) or give both guys 2 minutes.

Agreed, but it seems like the refs are attempting (not well) to tow some sort of line to make sure the series doesn't turn into an all out brawl. If you consider that, then add the usual subjectivity and the fact that refs make mistake calls and outright miss things..just ends up to me a goddamn mess.

The no-goal call shouldn't have went down the way it did. Refs fucked up on that one.
The puck definitely crossed the line before the net was dislodged and before the whistle even blew. What should've happened was they call it a good goal and put the onus on Randy Carlyle to challenge goaltender interference.
