If you watch the replay, you can see one of the 4 plastic clips break, Mask is still on and attached to his head, once realising he may have a chance to stop the play dead he forcefully throws his head forwards to throw the mask off. Since he removed it himself, and since it wasn't something hitting the mask and causing it to come off it should have been at least a delay of game penalty. There is no threat of player safety if the mask is still secured by 3 straps.

Yeah, that was really entertaining. A little frustrating as a Flames fan, but as a hockey fan it had some fun ups and downs.

Great pickup for the Flames getting Lazar. I think he has under preformed with the Sens, he could be a great player for us and is still very young. With the addition of Stone and Bartkowski, Jyrki became expendable.

Nobody knows yet. He was skating as an extra forward like Freddie Hamilton yesterday and very likely won't be playing tonight.

If I had to guess I would say Bouma or Chiasson comes out.

I just came from a Flames Luncheon eariler down at the Dome. Burke said they're not messing with the line ups. Lazar is sitting out and no plans yet him seeing any game action yet. They're in no rush to play him.
